What is the GA69 adapter?
The GA69 is a 3-phase track adapter manufactured by Nordic Aluminium and supplied as standard on every Spottune Omni Track.
It provides both the mechanical mounting and the electrical connection required to power the speaker directly from a compatible lighting track.
Can the Omni Track be installed in any 3-phase lighting track?
In many cases, yes.
The GA69 adapter is designed around the standard 3-phase lighting track interface and is compatible with many common 3-phase track systems available on the market.
However, to ensure compatibility, Spottune always recommend to test the Spottune Omni track with the power track present on the location, before finalizing the offer or quotation.
What is a 3-phase lighting track?
A 3-phase lighting track contains three separate live conductors (L1, L2 and L3).
This allows different fixtures installed on the same track to be powered from different electrical phases while sharing the same physical track.
The Omni Track can be assigned to any of these three phases using the phase selector on the GA69 adapter.
What is the phase selector wheel?
The GA69 adapter features a phase selector wheel, allowing you to choose which phase the speaker receives power from.
The selector can be set to:
L1
L2
L3
The selected phase must match a powered phase in the lighting track.
What happens if the wrong phase is selected?
If the selected phase is not energized, the speaker will not receive power.
In this case:
The LED on the Omni will remain off.
The speaker will not pair or play audio.
Simply change the phase selector to a powered phase and reinstall the speaker if necessary.
Does the phase selector affect the audio?
No.
The phase selector only determines which electrical phase supplies power to the speaker.
Audio is transmitted wirelessly from the Spottune Stream and is not affected by the selected phase.
Best Practices
For the most reliable installation, we recommend:
Verify which phases are energized before installing the speaker.
Set the phase selector before mounting the Omni.
Ensure the adapter is fully locked into the track.
If the speaker does not power on, test another powered phase before troubleshooting further.
When possible, use Nordic Aluminium Global Trac Pro tracks for guaranteed compatibility.
