What Are Zones?
Spottune supports two speaker zones:
Zone 1
Zone 2
Each Omni speaker can be assigned to either Zone 1 or Zone 2.
This allows you to group speakers into separate areas of a store, restaurant, or other commercial space and control which speakers receive audio.
Changing the Active Zone
To change the active zone on your Stream:
Locate the Zone Button on the front of the Stream.
Press the Zone Button to cycle through the available zone configurations.
The available modes are:
Zone 1
Zone 2
Zone 1 + Zone 2
The selected zone will be shown on the Stream display.
Zone 1
When Zone 1 is selected:
Speakers assigned to Zone 1, will play the audio distributed from the input source selected.
All speakers will be factory default be assigned to Zone 1.
Zone 2
When Zone 2 is selected:
Speakers assigned to Zone 2, will play the audio distributed from the input source selected.

Zone 1 + Zone 2
When Zone 1 + Zone 2 is selected:
All speakers assigned to either zone will play the audio distributed from the input source selected.

Zones are used to divide an installation into separate areas.
Examples include:
Retail Stores
Main sales floor
Fitting rooms
Restaurants
Dining area
Bar area
Outdoor seating area
Offices
Reception
Open office spaces
Meeting areas
Hospitality
Lobby
Lounge
Restaurant
Testing Speaker Zones
The Zone button is also useful when commissioning a new installation.
By selecting Zone 1 or Zone 2 individually, you can quickly verify that speakers have been assigned to the correct zone before putting the system into operation.
Tip
If speakers are not playing as expected, verify both:
The speaker has been assigned to the correct zone.
The Stream is currently playing the corresponding zone.
If in doubt, select Zone 1 + Zone 2 to ensure all speakers receive audio.
