Buttons on Your Spottune Stream

Stream gives you direct control via physical buttons. This guide explains each button’s function so you can operate the system effectively.

Button Overview & Functionality

1. Power Button

Turns the Stream on or off.
Tip: The Stream powers on automatically if connected to an outlet.


2. Zone Button

Cycles through audio zones: Zone 1 → Zone 2 → Combined Zone 1+2.
Use this to control which zone your input and volume apply to.


3. Source Button

Switches the active input source for the selected zone (e.g., AUX, USB, Ethernet).


4. Volume Buttons

Adjusts volume up or down for the selected zone in real time.


5. Play/Pause Button

Controls playback when using USB or Ethernet input.
Press to play or pause the current track.


6. Back / Forward Buttons

Navigate between tracks when using USB or Ethernet input.
Use Back to go to the previous track, Forward to skip ahead.


7. Microphone Button

Press and hold to activate the built-in mic for announcements.
Speak clearly toward the mic — located under the button.


⚠️Note: The built-in Microphone is only for demo purposes. Please use an external microphone, with the microphone input in installation cases.

Tips & Important Notes

  • To change zones quickly, use the Zone button—this allows separate control over different areas.

  • Play/Pause and Back/Forward buttons only work with USB and Ethernet inputs. They do not function when AUX is selected as the input.

  • The Microphone input has priority over all other audio. Any music playback will mute as soon as the mic is activated.
